We woke up to zero heat and -12 temps putside this morning. It was 55 in my bedroom. We just moved to the area and don’t know anyone yet so I just started cold calling. Josh called within a few minutes of me reaching out and was at pur house on under an hour just like he said. Our heat is back on and Josh took extra time to explain everything to me and I know zero about furnaces. Now I have full understanding of what went wrong and what he did to fix it. I came across Josh at Sub-Cooled by accident. I was calling around to find an electrician for an unrelated job. After Josh explained that they don’t do electrical but do install furnaces I just so happened to have been in the need for that too. So he promptly came out to give me an estimate. He so impressed me that I did not bother even get any other bids. In just a few days I now have a 95% efficient furnace in my home ready to take on anything winter can throw at us. He followed up with all the necessary paperwork to qualify for a NIPSCO rebate (filled out I might add). I am fully recommending Sub-Cooled as someone to use for all your heating and cooling needs. Our HVAC was acting up and it was a cold 60 degrees and dropping in my house (January) even with it cranked to 80 (hoping it would kick on by sure will power). I called around. He by far had the best price for a service call. Lady was super friendly and not sales-y. He called to set up a time to swing by and he immediately knew what was wrong from what I described and said he could be in and out by the time I needed to pick up my kid from school (40 mins). He came super fast. Fixed it super fast. And I still had 15 minutes to spare until I had to pick up my kid. He took the time to show and explain what was wrong which I appreciated. His price was INCREDIBLY GOOD. He even checked my house for any carbon monoxide leaks to make sure my family was safe. (Previous owner was a terrible DIYer and we’ve found weird things.) You will NOT be disappointed! He will forever be my HVAC guy. Honest. Fair. Kind. Highly recommend!

Sub-cooled is a really good company and it’s worth the call . Josh is a really nice and polite person. He is straight forward about anything that has to be done. If he notice any cracks he will show you and also show you from inside the furnace. He will take his time and show you where the cracks are with a special camera so you can see for yourself. I just got my furnace replaced today and he did a really good job. I am very pleased about the work he did.
